ABOUT US
OUR BELIEFS
We believe there is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and chosen to reveal Himself to man as The Father in Creation, The Son in redemption and the Holy Spirit in regeneration,
(Matthew 3:16, John 1:1-4,1 Timothy 3:16)
We believe that Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man, that He was born of the virgin Mary, that His miracles were real and authentic, that His death on the cross was the perfect and proper atonement for our sin, that his resurrection was physical and actual, and that He ascended bodily into heaven to take His place at the right hand of the Father in continual intercession for those who believe in Him, that He will visibly return for His Bride (the church) and that He will reign literally and bodily as eternal King in fulfillment of the Scriptures
(Matthew 1:18, John 1:1, 1 Peter 3:18, Hebrews 7:25, Matthew 26:64, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written word of God,
(2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe that every person is in need of salvation and a spiritual birth to receive eternal life, and that salvation is available to every person through the life, crucifixion, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
(John 3:1-21, 1 John 5:1-4)
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance, to be the initial evidence of this experience. We believe in the operation of the nine gifts of the Spirit and encourage our people to live so these gifts may be manifest in their lives.
(Acts 2:4, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 19:6, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11)
We believe that Jesus commanded His followers to observe two ordinances, baptism and communion
(Matthew 26:26-29, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Matthew 28:18-20, Romans 6:3-4)
We believe in the freedom of worship with every form of expression being done in decency and in order, not drawing attention to oneself. We define order in our services as following the anointing of the Holy Spirit through the pastoral leadership on the platform.
(1 Corinthians 14:33,40)
We believe that the local church is the place where those who are saved are encouraged and instructed in their faith, challenged to live godly and obedient lives, and are given opportunity to serve God with their gifts and abilities.
(Ephesians1:1-2, 1 Corinthians 1:2)
We believe in divine healing for the body. However, we encourage and do not condemn medical science.
(Acts 3:2-12, Acts 5:15-16, James 5:14-15)
We believe in the Second Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
(Acts 1:10-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation1:7)
We believe in the sacredness of marriage between one man and one woman and family commitment. We promote strong family values.
(Ephesians 5:31-33, Ephesians 6:1-4, Hebrews 13:4, Matthew 19:5, Leviticus 18:22, Genesis 2:24)
